Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Investment Banking Analyst to join our team. This role demands exceptional analytical skills, a solid foundation in financial modeling and valuation, and a willingness to work in a high-pressure environment typical of investment banking and private equity.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive 3-statement financial models with a focus on historical analysis and future projections.
Perform valuation analyses, including DCF models, precedent transactions, and comparable company analyses.
Create client-facing PowerPoint presentations to present insights from valuation analyses.
Conduct industry and market research to enhance proprietary frameworks and benchmarks.
Support transaction processes, including due diligence, valuations, and preparing pitch materials for prospective clients.
Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies, sale preparations, and optimization initiatives.
Maintain exceptional communication and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting.
Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methods, and using Excel at an advanced level.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and familiarity with financial databases.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Nice-to-Haves:
Passion for transitioning from investment banking or consulting to private equity roles.
Familiarity with healthcare or physician practice valuations.
