Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in a center-based special education setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and developmental goals
• Modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in center-based or structured special education classrooms strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, behavior management, and differentiated instruction
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
