Job Description
Legal Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel to join our dynamic legal team on a temporary basis. This remote position is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial contract law who can hit the ground running and provide immediate value. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts to support our business operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract law.
Strong understanding of contract principles, including commercial, technology, and supplier agreements.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in legal research and document management systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, and vendor agreements.
Provide legal advice on contract-related matters to internal stakeholders.
Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Identify potential risks in contract terms and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
Collaborate with other legal team members to maintain consistency in contract management processes and practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates and playbooks.
Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal.
Educational Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
