Intelligence Data Analyst, Trust and Safety

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, statistics, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
• Experience with modeling, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Experience in Trust and Safety, Intel, or policy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive... communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
• Leverage SQL to build robust and scalable scripts and workflows that automate data collection, enrichment, and delivery, maximizing the team's impact.
• Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, effectively translating complex Trust and Safety Intelligence needs into clear, actionable requirements for data solutions.
• Establish standardized processes and methodologies for data analysis that can be applied across diverse topics, ensuring consistency and efficiency in generating valuable insights.
• Transform raw data into compelling visualizations and reports that clearly communicate key findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics or content
