We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property attorney to join a leading IP practice. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact matters involving IP prosecution, transactions, and litigation across a wide range of industries and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft and prosecute patent and/or trademark applications
• Conduct IP due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses
• Advise on licensing, portfolio strategy, and IP enforcement
• Support litigation efforts including motion practice and trial prep
• Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements (licensing, development, confidentiality)
✅ Qualifications
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar license; USPTO registration preferred (for patent work)
• 3–6 years of IP experience (litigation, prosecution, or transactions)
• Strong writing, analytical, and client-facing skills
• Technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science, life sciences) preferred
Preferred Experience
• Trademark prosecution and enforcement
• Tech transactions, open-source compliance, and licensing
• Supporting IP in M&A and corporate transactions
