Sutherland is now seeking dependable, enthusiastic licensed Life & Health Insurance Advisors to provide professional presentations and sell insurance over the phone to existing customers of Fortune 500 Insurance companies on behalf of one of our leading insurance clients/customers.
Job Description
These work from home opportunities require individuals who strive to provide next-level care to clients and their customers and can excel in an environment where leads are provided. In this role, you will:
Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospects with the goal of enrolling them in relevant insurance products
Build rapport with callers to gain trust and understanding; gather all required data
Determine eligibility and maintain/improve quality results by adhering to established standards and guidelines
Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities
Manage prospect follow-up calls to ensure timely responses
Accurately process application/ information in systems; track and record outcomes, issues and inquiries and escalate as needed

Qualifications
An active state Life or Life and Health insurance license
Basic PC keyboarding skills and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience
Must complete the state exam for your life and health license prior to starting your on-the-job training
Preferred:
Experience working with POS applications
Previous remote or call center experience
2+ years of sales experience

Internet access speeds of at least 5 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download the faster the better!
In-house network, and a hard-wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting outstanding call quality and high-speed response rates. (wireless and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems)
