Instructional Designer Role Purpose The Instructional Designer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-impact learning experiences for corporate training programs within large organizations. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into effective learning solutions that build capabilities, improve performance, and drive measurable business results. Key Accountabilities Learning Needs Analysis & Strategy Analyze learning needs through organizational diagnostics, stakeholder interviews, and alignment with client strategic objectives. Translate business challenges into learning strategies and development solutions. Instructional Design & Learning Solutions Design corporate learning solutions grounded in adult learning principles (andragogy), experiential learning, and blended or digital approaches. Structure curricula, learning paths, training programs, and development experiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Develop instructional scripts, storyboards, and pedagogical designs for e-learning, virtual instructor-led training, in-person workshops, microlearning, simulations, and applied projects. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Partner closely with subject matter experts, trainers, facilitators, business teams, and corporate leaders. Ensure alignment between learning solutions, business priorities, and learner needs. Methodology, Evaluation & Quality Assurance Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, and Design Thinking for Learning. Define learning evaluation strategies to measure effectiveness, transfer, and impact, using models such as Kirkpatrick and ROI where applicable. Ensure pedagogical coherence, methodological quality, and an engaging participant experience. Support pilots, program launches, and continuous improvement initiatives. Global & Cultural Adaptation Adapt learning content and experiences to different cultures, regions, and professional profiles. Contribute to regional or international learning initiatives as required. Candidate Profile Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Pedagogy, Communication, Business Administration, or related fields. Proven experience in Instructional Design for corporate training, preferably within large organizations or consulting environments. Experience designing programs for leadership, sales, customer service, organizational culture, or competency development. Technical & Methodological Expertise Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and active learning methodologies. Hands-on experience with authoring and design tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Miro, advanced PowerPoint, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Solid understanding of digital learning, blended learning models, and instructional design best practices. Skills & Competencies Strong business and client orientation. Systems thinking and analytical mindset. Creativity applied to learning design. Project management skills within educational or L&D environments. High attention to detail and commitment to excellence in delivery. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and collaborative working style. Strategic thinking, autonomy, and strong focus on learner experience and outcomes. Language Requirements Intermediate to advanced level of English.
