Responsibilities:

Assist special education teachers in planning and implementing instructional programs for students with diverse abilities
Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including academic, social, and emotional support
Help students develop independence and self-advocacy skills
Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assist with daily routines, including arrival and dismissal, meals, and personal care
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in special education

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
TEA certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to work with students with diverse abilities and needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
