Inside Sales Representative

They are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer service, partnering closely with the Regional Sales Manager and managing the sales process from inquiry to order fulfillment.ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies that meet and exceed sales targets for the assigned regionBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, gaining a deep understanding of each accountâs needs and opportunities for growthServe as the primary contact for customers in your territoryRespond promptly to incoming inquiriesâproviding technical information, product recommendations, and accurate pricing quotes in a professional mannerFollow up with prospective customers to answer questions and guide them through the decision-making processManage the end-to-end quoting processPrepare detailed quotes based on customer requirements, then diligently follow up addressing any concerns, negotiate terms if needed, and drive the closure of sales opportunitiesOnce a quote is accepted, seamlessly convert it to an orderReview and process customer purchase orders in the ERP system (e.g., IFS)Verify all details (product specifications, quantities, pricing, lead times, shipping instructions, and special requirements) to ensure accuracyCoordinate with logistics and scheduling to confirm delivery dates and manage lead timesProvide timely and proactive updates to customers about their open ordersCommunicate any changes in lead times or delivery schedules and ensure customers receive all promised documentation or status reportsAct as an advocate for the customer, ensuring they remain informed and satisfied at every stage of the order processWork closely with internal teams to resolve any issues that ariseInitiate and coordinate requests for order expediting, handle customer complaints or returns, and pursue custom solutions when neededMaintain up-to-date and accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) on a daily basisEnsure the sales funnel and pipeline information is current, allowing for accurate forecasting and account visibilityManage contractual agreements with key customersMonitor contract terms (pricing, volume commitments, service level agreements, etc.) and ensure complianceWork with sales leadership (and other departments, such as Legal or Finance if necessary) to facilitate contract renewals, amendments, or special pricing agreementsIdentify opportunities to improve internal processes or customer service practicesContribute ideas to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, or sales effectivenessTake on additional sales support duties or projects as required to support the broader sales team and business objectivesSkillsA college certificate is required1â3 years of successful experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing sales role requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to build rapport and trust with customers over phone and emailStrong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience for the client at all timesHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)Exceptional organizational and time management abilitiesCapable of juggling multiple accounts, inquiries, and tasks while maintaining attention to detailAble to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and client expectationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to handle unexpected challenges or delays calmly and effectivelySelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative team playerAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, remaining adaptable to changing priorities without compromising quality of work or customer serviceMathematical and technical aptitude is importantEnglish fluency is requiredBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience3â5 years of experience preferredFamiliarity with ERP or order management systems (such as IFS or similar) is a plusBilingual language skills are an asset.
