Inside Sales Associate

Remote Full-time
Shift: 10-7 p.m. with Saturday shift once per month 9-2 p.m. As an Inside Sales Associate for our solar company, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, providing information on the benefits of solar energy, and guiding them through the sales process. This role requires a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting sustainable and renewable energy solutions. This role may require flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer schedules and events. A successful candidate must be able to: Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and our company's products and services. Assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology and industry trends. Demonstrate a deep understanding of our solar products and services. Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Conduct consultations with customers to understand their energy requirements and recommend appropriate solar solutions. Present and explain pricing, financing options, and incentives. Close sales and achieve weekly/monthly targets. Actively engage in lead generation activities, including participating in events, promotions, and networking. Follow up on leads generated through various channels. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement lead generation strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process. Provide post-sale support and address customer inquiries or concerns. Seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services. Complete sales-related paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead status, and achievements. All other duties assigned. A successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in solar energy or related fields is a plus. Physical Requirements: This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
