Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer
Intel is a leading technology company seeking an innovative entry-level Data Center Infrastructure DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will merge traditional data center operations with intelligent automation, working alongside experienced engineers to enhance the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise-level systems. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, diagnose and replace failed server components, upgrade memory/CPU, and run preventive maintenance inspections on compute racks Build lightweight monitoring dashboards and configure alert rules to catch performance anomalies, capacity thresholds, or security events before they impact users Develop python-based automation for smart infrastructure decisions including predictive maintenance using computer vision models and continuous model improvement via feedback loops Apply hardening guidelines (patch management, least privilege access), participate in audits, and maintain architectural diagrams for all automated processes Excellent written and verbal communication Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related specialized field Python programming proficiency (scripts, Jupyter/Colab notebooks) Compute server hardware expertise (building, over-clocking, component selection) experience Hands on experience with AI/ML pipelines Excellent written and verbal communication Demonstrates analytical thinking and exposure to interdisciplinary problem solving Knowledge of compute server bare metal provisioning, hardware diagnostics, and performance tuning Understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems Benefits Competitive pay Stock bonuses Health Retirement Vacation Company Overview Our mission is to shape the future of technology to help create a better future for the entire world, that’s the power of Intel Inside.
