Smartkarma is led by an experienced, founder-driven team with a proven track record in scaling capital markets challengers.Job DescriptionSmartkarma is seeking for a senior independent analyst to build and scale comprehensive ASEAN equities coverage, with a particular focus on Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region.Experience delivering high-impact, data-driven research and bespoke client services.Research coverage will entail:Equity bottom-up analysis: company tear-sheets, channel checks, management-meeting takeawaysThematic commentary: economic & sectoral drivers across ASEAN marketsValuation and relative-value frameworks: benchmark comparisons and peer analysesEvent-driven briefs: earnings previews, corporate actions, and capital-markets updatesYou will also be expected to offer a high-touch service for select institutional clientsQualificationsExtensive research and/or investment experience for institutional clients (10 yrs+) Proven track record and an extensive network across ASEAN equity capital marketsDemonstrated ability to write researchAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
