Incident Response Consultant - $135,000 to $175,000 + 20% bonus

Overview

A leading global cybersecurity and intelligence consultancy is looking for an Incident Response Consultant to join its growing Cyber Incident Response team. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where you will lead the coordination of complex cyber incidents, working alongside technical specialists to deliver high-quality response outcomes.

The Role

You’ll act as the central point of contact during cyber incidents, responsible for managing engagements from initial triage through to resolution.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading incident triage calls and scoping response efforts
• Managing end-to-end delivery of incident response engagements
• Coordinating forensic, technical, and advisory workstreams
• Supporting clients with containment, response strategy, and crisis management
• Engaging with stakeholders, including executives, legal counsel, and insurers

• Experience in incident response, ideally at a consultancy
• Strong consulting and client-facing skills
• Solid understanding of networks and security technologies
• Calm, structured approach in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Location: United States (work authorisation required), preference on CT and ET time zones.
