In-House Litigation Attorney (Engagement)
Latitude is seeking an experienced litigator for a part-time remote position, handling various commercial matters and managing outside counsel for the company. Trial experience is desired, as well as significant hands-on experience with discovery, complex motions, and strategies to resolve matters at an efficient pace and cost basis. Texas Bar required.
Basic Requirements for the In-House Litigation Counsel:
ā¢ 5 or more years handling complex commercial litigation matters in State and Federal Court in the state of Texas
ā¢ Experience coordinating and managing outside counsel and other risk management best practices
ā¢ Top-tier firm and prior in-house litigation experience needed
ā¢ Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
Position Details of the In-House Litigation Counsel:
ā¢ Type of Role:
ā¢ Schedule: approximately 20 hours per week, some as needed
ā¢ Location: Remote
Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference (each candidate's pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate's competitiveness for the position).

Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401(k) plan is also available.
