Nurse Practitioner – Functional & Virtual Medicine (Part-Time, Growth Into Full-Time) Company: Medical Mavens Location: Remote (Preference for Oregon-Licensed NP) Medical Mavens is a fast-growing Functional Medicine telehealth practice helping patients transform their health through hormone optimization, thyroid balance, gut healing, metabolic support, autoimmune care, and the strategic use of advanced therapies such as peptides—all from the comfort of their home. We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner with the potential to grow into full-time as our patient volume expands. Our ideal candidate is passionate about root-cause medicine, deeply values patient relationships, and thrives in a flexible virtual-care environment. We are hiring immediately due to an internal transition. What We're Looking For We prefer candidates licensed in Oregon, as it is one of our primary practicing states. Additional licensure in California, Idaho, or any other state is a major plus. If you are not yet licensed in these states, we can assist with additional licensure for the right candidate. Position Overview As a Nurse Practitioner with Medical Mavens, you will guide patients through a personalized, functional approach to restoring optimal health. You will work with motivated individuals who are eager to address hormone, metabolic, autoimmune, and gut-related concerns through an integrated clinical + lifestyle model. This role begins part-time with schedule flexibility and can be held alongside another role. As our clinic continues its rapid expansion, this position has strong potential to grow into a full-time position. Responsibilities • Conduct virtual patient consultations focused on full-body functional wellness • Order and interpret functional lab testing using a root-cause approach • Create personalized treatment plans including hormone optimization, thyroid support, peptide therapy (when appropriate), gut protocols, autoimmune support, and lifestyle recommendations • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care • Manage patient follow-ups, communication, and clinical documentation within our virtual platform • Provide education, connection, and ongoing support throughout the patient’s care plan Requirements • Active Nurse Practitioner license • Oregon preferred • Additional licenses (CA, ID, or others) highly valued • Willingness to obtain additional licensure with our support • Minimum 2 years of NP experience, ideally within functional, integrative, or endocrine-focused care • Strong understanding of—or genuine interest in learning—functional medicine principles • Excellent communication skills and comfort working independently in a virtual model • Tech-savvy and able to navigate EMR systems and telemedicine platforms What We Offer • Competitive compensation with significant growth potential as your patient panel expands • Flexible remote schedule and outstanding work-life balance • Continued training and development in functional, hormone, metabolic, and peptide-based medicine • A fun, supportive, mission-driven team dedicated to truly changing lives • Opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly scaling virtual health company How to Apply If you are a passionate NP ready to bring cutting-edge functional medicine to patients in a meaningful and personalized way, we’d love to meet you.
