About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement robust Machine Learning applications that propel our products and services forward. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate ML capabilities, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities


Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning models and applications on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging Vertex AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop ML-driven solutions that drive innovation and insights.
Work with data scientists to preprocess data, engineer features, and evaluate model performance, ensuring high-quality inputs for ML models.
Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable ML pipelines, using Python as the primary programming language.
Integrate ML capabilities into our products and services, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
Work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and BigQuery to store and retrieve data, optimizing data storage and retrieval strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Machine Learning, applying knowledge to improve our ML applications and infrastructure.


Essential Qualifications


Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer (1+ years), with a strong background in developing and deploying ML models and applications.
Proficiency in Python programming language, with experience using libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Vertex AI, and other cloud-based ML technologies.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and model evaluation.
Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, BigQuery, or other similar technologies.
Data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation experience, with a strong understanding of data quality and its impact on ML models.


Preferred Qualifications


Familiarity with Vertex AI and Azure OpenAI, with experience using these technologies to develop and deploy ML models.
Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generators (RAGs), with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations.
Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques, including text preprocessing, sentiment analysis, and language modeling.
Familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark, with experience processing large-scale datasets.
Experience with streaming data technologies like Apache Kafka or PubSub, with a strong understanding of real-time data processing.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git, with experience collaborating with others using version control.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
