As a Data Entry Operator / Entry Level at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality results and making a difference. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Operator / Entry Level at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: * Sorting and processing mail, separating out utility payments, solid waste, bank checks, returned mail, and miscellaneous items * Opening and processing payments through Aperta and those needing to be hand-keyed (manual posting) * Remitting all payments and preparing deposit to be sent to the bank daily * Balancing daily reports and researching any discrepancies * Preparing daily spreadsheets and providing the information to Finance * Processing Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) requests by entering valid information into CIS * Processing returned check payments, received from Finance, and adding associated fees to the customer's account * Pulling in files (Checkfree, Metavante, Online Resources, and EFT) for payments to be uploaded into CIS * Performing related work, as needed **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * One (1) year of paid personal computer experience * Valid Florida driver's license * Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication * Ability to read small printed words and numbers rapidly and accurately * Ability to maintain records/files accurately and legibly, prepare reports, and correspondence * Ability to meet and deal with the public effectively * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public * Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, in person, in writing, and online * Ability to make decisions and work without close supervision * Ability to operate a personal computer and other office equipment * Ability to establish and maintain files accurately and legibly * Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience in data entry or a related field * Knowledge of standard office methods and procedures * Knowledge of County departments, operations, and regulations * Ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data * Ability to assign work and direct the activities of the data staff, as needed **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee of arenaflex, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home or office.
