Illustrator for Architectural & Narrative Design Elements (Freelance, As-Needed)
The Clearly Collective is a luxury design studio specializing in narrative-driven silk textiles and bespoke gifting. We work with global partners ranging from J.P. Morgan to Ritz-Carlton, and we are known for transforming cultural memory and architectural storytelling into collectible objects of lasting resonance. We are seeking a freelance Illustrator to support our creative team on an as-needed basis. This role focuses on producing detailed, hand-rendered elements - often architectural, cultural, or ornamental - that will be incorporated into our scarf designs, brand collaborations, and digital applications. Responsibilities: - Produce original, high-quality illustrations aligned with The Clearly Collective’s aesthetic. - Develop architectural, narrative, or ornamental motifs based on provided design direction. - Collaborate with our design director to refine detail, scale, and accuracy for both B2B and D2C projects. - Deliver production-ready files (high-resolution raster). Qualifications: - Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural or ornamental illustration. - Comfort working in both traditional and digital mediums. - Experience with textile/pattern design is a plus. - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent digital tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to capture subtle cultural/historical references. Compensation & Engagement: - Hourly rate: $10–$15 USD or project based - Flexible, as-needed basis with potential for recurring work.
