IL Family Law Paralegal (Remote)
We are seeking a highly-experienced Illinois divorce and family law paralegal, for a successful and growing firm with two offices in Illinois. REQUIRED: • MUST have 3-5+ years of experience as a Paralegal, in divorce and family law, in Illinois. Responsibilities: • Draft orders, motions, petitions, correspondence, and other legal documents. • File and serve via Odyssey eFile IL. • Investigate and gather relevant facts for each case. • Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. • Prepare summaries and reports to assist in trial preparation. • Call clients, witnesses, and lawyers, as needed, to move cases forward. Qualifications: • Does not have to live in Illinois, but must have Illinois family law paralegal experience. • Must have fast and reliable internet for remote work. • Minimum 20 hours required, and up to 40 hours per week; genuinely interested in long-term work. • Knowledge of Lexis +AI or Other AI platforms preferred. • Ability to work independently, manage workloads, and keep deadlines. • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
