HVAC Service Technician (Mid to Senior Level)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team in various residential and commercial settings.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, refrigeration units, and air conditioning units.
Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all service activities.
Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
Proficiency in appliance repair, plumbing, and equipment repair related to HVAC systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Valid driver's license is preferred for field service roles.
Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus.
