California Department of Justice is seeking an Analyst I to provide business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert on the criminal history repository and assisting with various analysis, training, and outreach services. Responsibilities Provides business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch Serves as a subject matter expert on the entire arrest and disposition lifecycle Assists on a broad range of governmental and managerial problems associated with maintaining the state criminal history repository Provides assistance on all analysis, training, outreach, and support services related to the branch and the processes, procedures, and practices associated with collecting, processing, maintaining, and storing criminal history information Assists with performing and analyzing studies and surveys Drafts policies and procedures Develops training materials for internal and external stakeholders Assists with assignments and special projects such as workload analysis, procedure and legal mandate review, legislative review, and administrative support Skills Serves as a subject matter expert on the entire arrest and disposition lifecycle Assists on a broad range of governmental and managerial problems associated with maintaining the state criminal history repository Provides assistance on all analysis, training, outreach, and support services related to the branch Assists with performing and analyzing studies and surveys Drafts policies and procedures Develops training materials for internal and external stakeholders Assists with assignments and special projects such as workload analysis, procedure and legal mandate review, legislative review, and administrative support Benefits Work-life balance 11 paid holidays Flexible paid leave options Consistent wage increases Pension retirement Job stability Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and more!
