Turner Construction Company is a leading firm in the construction industry, and they are seeking an HR Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support their regional Talent Acquisition function. The role involves managing various aspects of the recruitment process, including coordinating candidate activities, producing reports on hiring trends, and promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.ResponsibilitiesEmbrace company culture, values, and contribute new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continuous improvement in overall services of Talent Acquisition (TA) teamSupport diversity and inclusion (D&I) activities in regionsManage employee referral system and serve as point of contact with internal employees and business units (BU)Update BU staffing Availability and Needs Report from employee Experience Tracking System (ETS)Produce required metrics and reports for current job activity, candidate flow, and hiring trends; distribute reports to TA Manager and BU managementForward pre-qualified viable candidates’ information to BU leadership for review and consideration for open requisitionsMaintain short-list of candidates for each open requisition and maintain resumes according to TA department guidelinesManage scheduling of applicants for recruiting screens, content screens, and interview days for BU TA teamCoordinate and track all correspondence related to candidate activities between TA Manager, TA Recruiters and BU hiring managersEnter and update current activities and conversations in recruiting databaseOther activities, duties, and responsibilities as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field requiredExceptional organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail, and timely documentationGood judgment to identify problems, maintain confidentiality, escalate issues, and set prioritization of responsibilitiesResearch and analysis skillsProfessional verbal and written communication skillsActive listening skills, responsive, and strong follow-up practicesApproachable, proactive, and professional attitude at all times while working in ever changing environmentWork independently with oversight and direction, and collaboratively with teamsAdvanced computer application use, data management (e.g., Power BI), digital social media, MS Office, and MS Excel skillsLimited travelMinimum 1 year of experience working in professional capacity in Human Resource or Staffing, or prior Human Resources internship experienceExperience in construction industryBenefitsFlexible benefitsMedical, dental and vision coverageFinancial benefits such as a 401(k) planHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending AccountWellness benefitsA voluntary legal planIdentity theftLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coveragePaid vacationWellness/sick timeHolidaysPaid parental leaveTuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusesEnd of year appreciation payCompany OverviewTurner is a provider of construction services committed to making a difference in the lives of people.
