HR Generalist
A mission-driven organization in the housing and community development space is seeking an HR Generalist to join its team. This role will report directly to senior HR leadership and support a small, collaborative HR team across multiple locations.This position will begin at 20 hours per week through April, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours starting in May.Schedule & Location:Fully remoteOccasional travel required to local offices (Greater Boston area)Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruitment for open roles across the organizationOversee FMLA and leave administration, ensuring compliance and proper documentationSupport and handle employee relations matters, providing guidance to managers and employeesPartner with HR leadership on policies, processes, and HR initiativesMaintain accurate HR records and documentationProvide general HR support across multiple teams and locationsQualifications3–5 years of HR experienceStrong experience with employee relations and leave management (FMLA)Experience in nonprofit or community-based organizations is a plusAbility to work independently in a remote environmentStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel occasionally to local offices as neededif you are interested in this role email me at [email protected]
