HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator will provide daily generalist support, build relationships, and carry out HR initiatives to enhance business success while ensuring a positive employee experience.ResponsibilitiesHandle assigned tasks via ticketing system, hotline cases, background checks, I9s and other HR activitiesPerform associate relations activities including coaching, conflict resolution, performance issues, disciplinary actions and investigationsProcess transactions via HCM and other HR systems. Train managers on HCM best practices when appropriateFacilitate the deployment and delivery of existing and new HR programs, processes and policiesAnalyze issues, resolve problems and propose solutionsAdminister and advise on PTOUnderstand and help others to interpret company policies and federal and state lawsAssess the efficiency of current HR activities and suggest improvements to improve efficiency and decrease ‘busy work' whenever possibleAnswer questions and resolve associate concernsHandle special projects as neededSkillsBachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred1 or more years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic organizationGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and develop effective working relationships with employees at all levelsAbility to work under tight deadlines and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting prioritiesResults-oriented problem solver with strong attention to detail and follow-throughWorking knowledge of relevant employment laws and policiesExperience with MS Office tools and HR Information SystemsDrive and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve goalsCompany OverviewCapstone Logistics is the leader in providing specialized, technology-enabled solutions for the most challenging supply chains.
