Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and creative Home-Based Virtual Wedding Planner to join our team. This remote position allows you to work with clients nationwide, helping them create unforgettable wedding experiences. As a Virtual Wedding Planner, you will guide clients through every aspect of wedding planning, from selecting venues to managing vendors, ensuring that each event is tailored to the couples unique vision and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• * Consult with clients virtually to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and budget.
• * Develop detailed wedding plans, including timelines, budgets, and vendor lists.
• * Coordinate and manage all aspects of the wedding planning process, including venue selection, catering, floral arrangements, entertainment, and photography.
• * Communicate regularly with vendors and clients to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of tasks.
• * Provide expert advice and creative suggestions for wedding themes, designs, and overall aesthetics.
• * Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the planning process, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for the clients.
• * Manage virtual meetings and events as required, using video conferencing tools.
• * Track progress on all deliverables and ensure all wedding details are finalized well in advance.
• * Provide ongoing support to clients leading up to and during their wedding day.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• * Proven experience as a wedding planner or event coordinator, ideally in a remote or virtual setting.
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
• * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple weddings simultaneously.
• * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• * Creative problem-solving skills to address client needs and challenges.
• * Strong familiarity with wedding trends, themes, and vendor options.
• * Comfortable using various project management and communication software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Trello, or Asana).
• * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
• * Knowledge of U.S. wedding regulations and customs preferred.
• Experience:
• * At least 2-3 years of experience in wedding planning, event coordination, or a related field.
• * Experience working in a remote or home-based environment is a plus.
• * A portfolio of successfully planned weddings or events will be highly regarded.
• * Certification in wedding planning (e.g., Certified Wedding Planner) is a plus but not required.
• Working Hours:
• * Flexible working hours, primarily during standard U.S. business hours (9 AM to 5 PM).
• * Occasional weekend or evening availability required to accommodate client needs.
• * Ability to manage multiple clients and weddings simultaneously.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• * Strong knowledge of wedding industry trends and best practices.
• * Proficient in using virtual communication tools and project management software.
• * Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple clients and events at once.
• * Creative and innovative approach to wedding planning, with the ability to bring client visions to life.
• * High level of professionalism and customer service-oriented attitude.
• * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise during the planning process.
