The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Design Assistant will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Ideal Candidates will be

Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

Able to give and receive constructive criticism

A keen eye for aesthetics and details

Strong attention to detail

Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Role Details

Industry: Promotions

Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA)

Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)

Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient

Salary Range: 35,000 - 42,000

Job Responsibilities

Create Visuals and Artwork: Develop logos, innovative artwork, and pre-production designs based on client specifications.

Template Design: Utilize templates to accurately position and size artwork for various decoration methods, including embroidery, digital imprint, and screen printing.

Digital Proofs and File Preparation: Prepare clear, professional virtual proofs for client review and ensure files meet technical requirements for optimal output.

Layout and Mockups: Design compelling website mockups and other digital assets while adhering to brand guidelines.

File Management: Maintain organized digital files and project records to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with clients to manage expectations and bring their creative vision to life.

Quality Control: Review and refine final layouts, suggesting improvements to enhance the overall visual impact.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform additional graphic design tasks as assigned.

Additional Job Requirements

Education: College degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or any related field.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, or any related roles.

Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Experience with computer-aided design.

Software that will be used

Proficient with Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Proficient with Google suite (Google sheets, Gmail etc.)

Basic exposure to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Canva is ideal
