Qualifications
ā¢ Domain expertise in mechanical engineering, materials science, materials engineering, computational mechanics, applied mechanics, manufacturing, or a closely related field
ā¢ Research, academic, or industry experience reviewing technical work, experiments, simulations, or engineering analyses
ā¢ Ability to evaluate complex technical outputs for accuracy, methodology, and scientific rigor
ā¢ Strong understanding of engineering reasoning, materials behavior, modeling assumptions, or experimental design
ā¢ Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain technical feedback clearly
ā¢ High attention to detail and ability to apply structured evaluation criteria consistently
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Requirements
ā¢ BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent professional experience in mechanical engineering, materials science, materials engineering, applied mechanics, manufacturing engineering, aerospace engineering, civil engineering, or a related STEM field
ā¢ Advanced research experience, graduate-level training, or applied engineering experience may be especially valuable depending on project scope
ā¢ Experience with scientific review, engineering analysis, research documentation, or technical quality assessment is highly relevant
