Role Description
This is a Clinical Pharmacist position supporting Medicaid Prior Authorization.
ā¢ Ready to take your clinical skills to the next level?
ā¢ An active TX or AZ pharmacist license that is in good standing is required.
ā¢ New hire is required to obtain the secondary license (AZ or TX) within 90 days of hire.
ā¢ We are hiring for the 10:30 am - 7:00 pm CST shift (post training).
ā¢ The training schedule is: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm CST.
ā¢ You will be required to work one Saturday every 4-6 weeks and occasional holidays.
ā¢ This is a fully remote position open to qualified candidates within the United States who currently hold active, unrestricted TX or AZ pharmacist licensure.
Qualifications
ā¢ Active and unrestricted TX and/or AZ pharmacist license
ā¢ New hire is required to obtain the secondary license (AZ or TX) within 90 days of hire.
ā¢ Demonstrated experience with clinical decision-making while applying evidence-based clinical guidelines/criteria; utilizing formularies/preferred drug lists.
ā¢ Experience working in a high production, remote team environment
ā¢ 3+ years experience working as a pharmacist or completion of PGY1 managed care residency, including prior authorization experience
ā¢ Demonstrated understanding of clinical program components, formulary designs, and prescription benefit trends
Requirements
ā¢ Medicaid or Medicare experience
ā¢ Medicaid prior authorization experience
ā¢ Experience reviewing medical records, clinical literature, and composing SOAP notes
Education
ā¢ BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $94,500.00 - $193,600.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
