Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large enterprise virtual desktop (VDI) environment. This role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for troubleshooting complex performance issues across the organization and requires deep experience in system design, integration, and process automation/improvement. • Design, implement, and maintain VDI solutions at scale • Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability • Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies • Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks related to Virtual Desktop • Maintain advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions Qualifications • Master’s degree + 7 years experience OR 16 years experience • Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops • Experience managing and administering Windows Servers • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix • Experience in VDI profile management • Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs • AVD integration with Office 365 services • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services • Collaborate and work well in a team environment Requirements • Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) Desired Skills • Some experience (1+ years’) with any or all of these products or technologies: MS SQL, Puppet, Chef, Qualys, SCCM, Intune, MDM solutions • Some experience (1+ years’) setup and integration with IIS, SQL Server • Some experience (2+ years’) with Azure Security Tools (e.g. Sentinel) Apply tot his job
