Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.

• Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of sales goals and profitability.
,
• Attend daily meetings virtually or in person when possible and work closely with property leadership to ensure customer success.
,
• Work closely with Sales Team and Sales Admin to coordinate site tours when working remotely, client meetings, and other essential sales functions.
,
• Detail contracts, follow established turnover procedures, and introduce CSM for all assigned group bookings.
,
• Review Kalibri Reports with DOSM weekly to identify possible opportunities.
,
• Communicate regularly with booked groups to ensure Customer Success, Excellent Execution, accuracy in Event Orders, Billing, and high return rate.
,
• Develop a marketing strategy to analyze historical, current and future hotel/market trends and create a selling strategy.
,
• Identify business opportunities by being aware of prospective clients and evaluating their position in the marketplace.
,
• Target high revenue sales calls to ensure successful direct sales program.
,
• Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval.
,
• Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth.
,
• Produce monthly reports/sales forecasts to evaluate current/potential markets and sales trends.
,
• Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments.
,
• Champion a hospitable culture that promotes a healthy and productive format of serving others with excellence.
,
• Develop customer profiles and maintain an effective trace system.
,
• Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel departments.
,
• Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management system.
,
• Develop strong customer relationships through frequent communication.
,
• Focus on revenue-producing activity and selling time by a strategic plan.
,
• Achieve activity goals as established by management and complete all reports and assignments in an accurate and timely fashion.
,
• Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.

Requirements
• Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
,
• Previous sales experience required; hotel experience preferred.
,
• Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information.
,
• Extensive knowledge of negotiating and sales procedures associated with the hotel industry.
,
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication.
,
• Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects.
,
• Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.
