What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform HCC coding for Medicare Advantage, Affordable Care Act, and End Stage Renal Disease projects while adhering to CMS guidelines
- Assist with Regulatory Audits by conducting initial coding reviews and collaborating with coding teams
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as directed by leadership, offering recommendations for process improvements
- Engage in educational meetings and coding summits to enhance skills and knowledge
- Maintain accuracy and productivity in coding tasks for Remote Patient Monitoring projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HCC coding and/or coding and billing
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Coder (CRC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Associate degree in medical billing/coding, health insurance, healthcare, or related field
