DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

As the Deal Desk Specialist, you will:

​Roles & Responsibilities:

Deal Desk – Core role
Go-to contact for a set of global / regional customers liaising with the APAC Deal Desk ·

Lead the sales quotations process with external parties (Vendors and customers), with internal parties: engage with cross functional teams to support quick turnaround in sales transactions and help with deal structuring / RFP execution.

Manage pro-active communication cadence with vendors and partners on larger opportunities.

Follow-up on leads / opportunities

Leverage tools (MyTower NetSuite & SharePoint) deployed to support APAC Deal Desk.

Support in any intelligence or financial reports to Senior Management.


Deal Desk – Active contribution as a team member
Contributes to initiatives or projects to improve APAC Deal Desk efficiency & service levels. Participate in the promotion of the APAC Deal Desk with external business partners.

Promote the APAC Deal Desk achievements internally and ensure the rules of engagement with the deal desk are well understood by EN APAC teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Deal Desk Specialist :

Minimum Bachelor’s degree relevant studies

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales or product management role, good understanding of sales processes & revenue recognition requirements.

Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams and with parties in various geographies & culture · Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks and managing it well.

Self-starter, demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative in owning, dealing with and resolving problems on a logical basis.

Strong Excel skill is required. Good working knowledge on MS Office and ERP solutions such as Oracle NetSuite or SAP.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preference for candidates with experience in IT Sales / IT Channel business.

Those with knowledge in logistics / import, export will have added advantage.
