Job Summary: Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist and according to the physician's plan of care. Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance. Direct and aid patients in therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training. Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage. Observe and report patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in their condition. Job Requirements: Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the location where the HHA is located (if licensure is required). Graduated from a PT assistant program approved by CAPTE and passed a national examination for PT assistants. Possess and maintain current CPR certification. Must have the ability to drive and/or have access to transportation for agency-related travel. Why should you apply?
