Healthcare Program Director/Manager-Remote

Role: Healthcare IT Program Director Location: Remote with travel to Richmond, VA (EST candidates only, local to VA are highly preferred) Duration: 12+ Months Responsibilities- • Provide program-level oversight for 1–2 IT Project Managers. • Manage large-scale Elevance IT projects, coordinating across multiple internal groups. • Deliver executive-level updates and status reports to stakeholders. • Oversee testing practices, including SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing, and manage the lead test group. Preferred Experience • Elevance Care Management Initiatives: • Familiarity with Healthy Innovations Platform (HIP) – currently handling 60–65% of Care Management work. • Experience with Healthy Returns System (HRS) is also acceptable. Interaction with Elevance systems: • Clinical Data Platform (CDP) data warehouse • Condition Identification & Stratification systems • Digital Enablement team (interaction tracking system) • Telephony systems • Correspondence Center (letters system) Skills & Qualifications • Proven ability to manage large, complex IT programs in healthcare or insurance domains. • Strong communication skills for executive reporting and stakeholder engagement. • Deep understanding of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. • Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and complex organizational structures.
