Healthcare Account Executive

Position Summary

The Healthcare Account Executive is responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with strategic healthcare accounts. This role will focus on selling complex, high-value solutions to enterprise customers tailored to their needs, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to close. The individual will possess strong consultative selling skills, the ability to navigate within enterprise-level organizations, and a history of achieving or exceeding sales targets. The individual will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive long-term revenue growth and customer retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and execute account strategies to penetrate existing healthcare facilities, networks, or enterprise customers for cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with healthcare facilities, networks, and enterprise-level accounts to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation, qualification, nurturing, contract negotiation and through to sales closure.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasting in the company CRM system to ensure transparent communication with cross functional departments and management.
• Participate in and represent the company at industry educational events, trade shows, and conferences to build and maintain long-term and trusting professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers to the business.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to healthcare customers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer decision maker, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of any product or services delivery issues during the sales cycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, stakeholders, decision-makers, and executives within target organizations.
• Utilize company data and perform in-depth discovery for each customer to understand product, service, and budget requirements to align company solutions with their business objectives.
• Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in healthcare regulations or standards and communicate to company management.
• Assist with contract and renewal contract negotiations.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, skills, and core competencies for success
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales, with at least 2 years focused on enterprise or strategic account level sales.
• Purposeful, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a complex, consultative sales environment.
• Persuasive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience selling to senior level management.
• Experience managing long sales cycles and working with cross-functional teams to close large, complex deals.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and other sales tools (e.g., Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, or Definitive Healthcare) to manage the sales pipeline and forecasting effectively.
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excel: Skills for reporting, data analysis, and forecasting
• PowerPoint: Strong presentation skills for customer sales meetings
• Word: Expertise in creating professional documents for customer management
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to company corporate office, customer meetings, industry trade shows and conferences.

Desired Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in medical imaging sales related to diagnostic imaging or radiation therapy healthcare services.
