Head of Project and Process Engineering
Description:
• Lead and manage a team of project engineers, process engineers, and equipment engineers
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to optimize project execution
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure all projects meet the highest quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes, tools, and methodologies
• Mentor and develop the project engineering team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, or a related field
• 10-15 years of experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong technical background in engineering principles and practices, dairy industry experience is preferred
• Proven ability to lead & inspire a team of engineers and project managers
• Occasional travel to equipment suppliers and other Chobani sites is required
• Extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus
