Known as innovators in our space, we’re a fast-growing team focused on making self storage better for everyone.Why this role mattersUntil now, people operations at Stora have been led directly by our COO. As we grow, this is no longer sustainable. We’re ready for someone to take full ownership of hiring, onboarding, culture, policies, and performance—all the things that keep our team strong and aligned.This is our first dedicated People role. You’ll be hands-on from day one, bringing structure and care to how we hire, welcome, support, and grow our team. You’ll work closely with leadership to shape an environment where everyone can do their best work.What you’ll doOwn and improve our hiring processes—from job specs to onboardingTrack and maintain performance and feedback rituals across the teamLead on HR policies, benefits, contracts, and general people opsOrganise internal team events, meetups, and offsitesBe a sounding board and support partner to team leads and leadershipHelp define and embed our company values and cultural principlesIdentify gaps or risks in how we work and proactively fix themWhat you’ll bringHighly organised and self-directed—you don’t wait to be told what to doA bias for action and clarity—able to balance empathy with effectivenessConfident working across everything from recruitment to policy writingGreat with technology and digital tools—able to establish and maintain effective systems and processesStrong written and verbal communicatorComfortable working closely with leadership and coaching othersValues trust, transparency, and healthy team dynamicsPreferred experienceExperience managing people ops or HR in a startup or SaaS companyFamiliar with building hiring pipelines, onboarding journeys, and remote-first cultureWhy join StoraStora offers a collaborative environment where you’ll have real ownership and impact.
