Graduate Engineer - Construction Engineering

In this role, the graduate engineer will support project managers on various construction projects, focusing on analyzing structures, developing construction sequencing, and designing temporary structures.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing and validating structures at different stages of constructionDeveloping construction sequencing for complex structuresAnalysis and design of temporary structures to support constructionSteel connection designParticipate on project design teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, and cultural buildingsParticipate in our industry leading staff development program, MOORELearningSkillsMaster's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in StructuralEITExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated strength in steel design, steel connection design and structural analysisSAP 2000 modeling experienceStrong computer analysis skillsCoursework covering a broad array of topics in steel designAbility to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated officeExperience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM)Work experience/internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectorsBenefits$1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment.$50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.Company OverviewWalter P Moore is a Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering company.
