Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable web applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes...
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, implementing appropriate logging, alerting, and incident response strategies.
Optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and high performance.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into cloud architecture solutions.
Manage and configure Google Cloud Platform services including but not limited to Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
Ensure robust security practices are followed, including network security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, performance, and infrastructure.
Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve development and operational workflows.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong background in managing web applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure services and tools on Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Preferred Skills:
Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
Experience with serverless computing (e.g., Google Cloud Functions) and API management.
Understanding of network and security best practices in a cloud environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, or ELK stack.
