Job Summary The College of Education is seeking part time faculty to teach advanced level courses in various fields of study in teacher and leader education. All courses will be offered fully online. These positions may be available every semester.
Programs of Focus: M.Ed. in Elementary Education M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, Media and Design M.Ed. in Reading Instruction M.Ed. in Special Education Ed.S. in Elementary Education Ed.S. in Instructional Technology, Media and Design Ed.S. in Special Education Educational Leadership Tier I (non-degree/certification only) School Improvement Doctorate.
Responsibilities The successful candidate may assume a range of responsibilities including teaching graduate level courses, with an emphasis on high-quality online instruction and working collaboratively with faculty in the College of Education.
Required Qualifications
Education Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree in the field of focus with extensive K-12 Teaching in the applicable content area (i.e., for teacher education programs) or administrative experience in K-12 schools/districts (i.e., for leadership programs)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate/Phd
Doctoral Degree in the field of focus.
Experience teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment. Familiarity and experience with the GaPSC and teacher certification requirements in Georgia
