About the position
The General Clerk II Seasonal position at Serco involves assisting individuals through outbound phone calls and maintaining detailed records. This role supports the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services by helping consumers navigate health care verification issues. Responsibilities
ā¢ Post information to agency records and modify forms or records.

ā¢ Communicate with consumers using English and Spanish speaking skills.

ā¢ Provide telephone support.
,
ā¢ Record and input information to internal database records.
,
ā¢ Conduct outbound telephone calls.
,
ā¢ Receive inbound telephone calls.
,
ā¢ Perform data entry and retrieval and perform arithmetical computations.

ā¢ Receive coaching/feedback and implement/take action to make changes as appropriate.
,
ā¢ Participate in internal training through company Learning Management System and passing certification tests.
,
ā¢ Adhere to service compliance requirements by completing training modules and passing annual re-certifications.
,
ā¢ Maintain required production and quality standards as outlined by contract.
,
ā¢ Recognize & assess issues associated with the task following work instructions and escalate when necessary.

ā¢ Effectively work in a team environment.
,
ā¢ Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to change.

ā¢ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent.

ā¢ 6 months of experience in a similar job.

ā¢ Internet connectivity.
,
ā¢ Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

ā¢ Clerical skills including data entry, typing, and outbound telephone calls.

ā¢ Prior telephone experience is desired.
