GCP Python Developer

Overview
Client is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using Python, React, and Node.js. This role is cloud-forward on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with an emphasis on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL, plus strong DevOps execution using GitLab CI/CD and Terraform.
Core Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, React, and Node.js
ā¢ Implement and manage GCP solutions with a focus on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
ā¢ Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
ā¢ Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and provide actionable feedback
ā¢ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
ā¢ Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform (IaC)
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues
ā¢ Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them when beneficial
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
ā¢ Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer (or similar)
ā¢ Strong Python development experience
ā¢ Strong front-end experience with React and development experience with Node.js
ā¢ Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
ā¢ Experience with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
ā¢ Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
ā¢ Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience
ā¢ Experience with Generative AI
