ā¢ Detailed JD:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. They focus on automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform), managing GKE/containers, implementing security (IAM/VPC), and optimizing cloud costs.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Infrastructure Design: Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Networking.
ā¢ Automation: Utilize Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Bash scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
ā¢ Containerization & DevOps: Manage containerized applications via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment.
ā¢ Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), VPC, firewalls, and data encryption.
ā¢ Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system performance using Cloud Monitoring/Logging, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high availability.
ā¢ Cost Optimization: Monitor and reduce cloud spending by analyzing usage patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ā¢ Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
ā¢ GCP Expertise: Strong understanding of core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, IAM, BigQuery).
ā¢ Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.
ā¢ Scripting/Coding: Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
ā¢ Networking: Knowledge of VPCs, VPNs, and load balancing.
ā¢ Certifications:Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications
Preferred Experience:
ā¢ Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
ā¢ Background in migrating on-premise infrastructure to GCP.
ā¢ Understanding of public sector security compliance (FedRAMP, etc.)
