Fund Accounting Manager - Remote!
SNI Financial has partnered with a rapidly growing alternative investment platform to hire a Manager of Fund Accounting supporting a high-performing Private Credit strategy.
This is a rare opportunity to join the actual fund side (not a fund administrator) while working fully remote — offering meaningful exposure, strong leadership, and long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead day-to-day fund accounting and reporting activities across complex, multi-entity private credit structures
• Review and oversee financial statements, investor reporting, and key accounting deliverables (NAV, accruals, valuations, reconciliations)
• Manage capital activity including capital calls, distributions, transfers, and carried interest calculations
• Coordinate with external partners including auditors, fund administrators, tax advisors, and lenders
• Support audits, tax reporting, and regulatory filings
• Partner closely with investment, operations, and leadership teams to support fund performance and reporting needs
• Drive process improvements and help scale accounting infrastructure as the platform continues to grow
• Assist with new fund launches, ad hoc reporting, and cross-functional initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• 6–10+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or public accounting with exposure to alternative investments
• Prior experience at the Manager level (or ready to step into it) with leadership or review responsibilities
• Strong understanding of closed-end fund structures (private credit experience is a plus, not required)
• Experience working with audits, financial reporting, and investor reporting
• CPA (or actively pursuing)
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach
