We are a business of three local UPS Store Franchises in the Myrtle Beach area searching for a good fit to join our team in our Myrtle Beach store! We need a motivated candidate with above-average computer and internet skills, a friendly, genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance and attitude, and excellent customer service. Due to the number of services we offer at our stores our training takes up to 6 months, so this is a position for someone looking for long-term employment. Our stores are open 7 days a week to better serve our customers, so weekend availability is required. Students are also encouraged to apply and we are happy to work full-time hours around a school schedule if it is possible!
Our starting pay is starting from $13 per hour, based on comparable experience, with fast & timely increases based on related experience and on-the-job knowledge and skill. We support continued growth and knowledge in your position so you can grow your pay!
Note: December is our busiest month and employees will work more hours during that month. We cannot consider someone who is unavailable during December.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Self-starter, not overwhelmed in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability
• Strong computer, phone, tablet, & internet skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible with a team-oriented attitude
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 7+ hour shift
• High school diploma or GED
