About The Role We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our dynamic team at RealPage, Inc. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced applications that address real-world challenges within the PropTech domain.
Your primary responsibilities will include implementing sophisticated models and algorithms, integrating them seamlessly into our existing products, and ensuring their scalability and robustness. You will work closely with cross-functional teamsâincluding product managers, designers, and engineersâto deliver innovative solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4+ years of solid experience in service development, with a strong foundation in modern web technologies and frameworks. Essential skills include expertise in PHP, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Candidates should have substantial experience in defining, creating, and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services, particularly in customer-facing applications. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, Docker, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure are highly desirable. Familiarity with Laravel framework, event-driven programming, and experience with ElasticSearch will be considered an advantage.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate mentorship capabilities, a solid understanding of authentication and authorization techniques, and a commitment to writing clean, well-documented code.
Experience in building scalable, high-availability platforms and proficiency in unit testing are also important. Exposure to UI development using JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS will be beneficial.
