Full Stack Developer for Website Operations
Overview
1Mind.uk is seeking a proactive and skilled full-stack developer to oversee the daily operations of our website and implement minor improvements as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the functionality of our platform, ensuring it operates smoothly while addressing issues and implementing ongoing optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Website Maintenance: Monitor and manage the websites day-to-day functionality, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Investigate and fix technical problems, including resolving issues with workflows like sign-ups, user authentication, or payment gateways.
Improvements & Enhancements: Develop and implement minor improvements to optimize the platforms user experience and performance.
Cross-Platform Testing: Ensure website functionality across multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems for a consistent user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and prioritize tasks.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise records of changes made and provide recommendations for long-term improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a web developer or full-stack engineer, with a track record of managing and improving live platforms.
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, PHP, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with frontend and backend development, including databases, user authentication, and account management systems.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Experience ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR and best practices for accessibility and user experience.
Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with membership or subscription-based platforms.
Familiarity with 1Mind.uks platform (not required but a plus).
Experience with SEO, performance optimization, and website analytics tools.
