Full Stack Developer - Contract - Remote (Eastern Time Zone)
Our client is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join their team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Angular and Django, with expertise in UI/UX improvements, middleware development, and Okta SSO integration.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Upgrade and stabilize the existing application to Angular 14+.
ā¢ Enhance the Django middleware and object model.
ā¢ Implement Okta SSO integration and authentication.
ā¢ Collaborate with the product manager and team to prioritize and resolve backlog issues using JIRA.
ā¢ Produce technical documentation and maintain accurate code comments.
ā¢ Advise on and execute code refactoring to align the application with current design concepts.
ā¢ Ensure the application is stable and functional across various browsers.
ā¢ Address and complete backlog priorities within the 3-month time-frame to ensure the application can run efficiently for the upcoming years.
Required Skills:
ā¢ Proficient in Angular (v14+) with a solid track record in building dynamic web applications.
ā¢ Strong experience with Django (v3.1+) and the ability to develop efficient and scalable back-end systems.
ā¢ Knowledge of PostgreSQL (v14+) and experience in designing and optimizing databases
ā¢ Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
ā¢ Experience with SQL development, including query optimization and database management.
ā¢ Familiarity with GitLab CI for continuous integration, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.
ā¢ Understanding of Okta SSO integration for secure and seamless user authentication experiences.
