Job Title: Full Stack API Engineer/Aladdin SME Location: US (Remote) Rate: $800-1000 per day (flex) Contract: Initial 6 Months contract Start Date: April We have an exciting opportunity with one of our sector-leading clients who are delivering a major Aladdin transformation programme. They are looking to hire experienced Full Stack API Engineers with proven exposure Aladdin APIs. Role Overview We are seeking experienced Full Stack API Engineers with hands-on experience integrating with Aladdin APIs. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain full stack API integrations with BlackRock Aladdin • Repoint and refactor existing applications from CRD trading APIs to Aladdin APIs • Rework and optimise Python scripts to align with Aladdin frameworks and data models • Perform data mapping and impact analysis across legacy and Aladdin systems • Integrate commercial and custom-built applications into the Aladdin ecosystem • Work across frontend, backend, and API layers to support seamless application functionality • Ensure accurate handling of trading, positions, and related investment data flows Required Skills & Experience • Strong Full Stack development experience (backend + API layer) • Proven hands-on experience working with BlackRock Aladdin APIs • Prior involvement in an Aladdin implementation or migration programme • Strong understanding of Aladdin data structures and integration patterns • Experience repointing or migrating trading/API integrations (e.g. CRD to Aladdin) • Experience working with RESTful APIs and system integration patterns • Strong Python development experience Desirable Experience • Experience working with CRD trading API's • Experience with event-driven or messaging architectures • Exposure to investment workflows • Experience working within platform transformation programmes Disclaimer Notwithstanding any guidelines given to level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.
