Role and Responsibilities
As a Fulfillment Team Member, you'll support store operations by maintaining an organized stockroom and facilitating the smooth movement of inventory to the sales floor.
• Shipment Handling: Unload incoming merchandise safely and verify quantities and contents against shipping documents.
• Stock Organization: Place items in their proper storage areas, rotate inventory based on dates, and adhere to stocking guidelines.
• Replenishment: Work with sales floor teams to restock shelves promptly and keep merchandise available to members.
• Clean and Safe Work Area: Maintain a neat, hazard-free backroom that complies with all safety standards.
• Equipment Operation: Use pallet jacks, forklifts, and other tools safely and efficiently (training available if needed).
• Inventory Protection: Help reduce shrink by monitoring stock, securing inventory, and reporting discrepancies.
• Inventory Systems: Use handheld devices or software to document deliveries, damaged goods, and inventory movements.
• Team Support: Collaborate with peers and leadership to manage workload, especially during peak business periods.
Required Skills and Experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long shifts
• Basic experience with handheld scanners or inventory tracking tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including early, late, or overnight shifts
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail stockroom operations
• Knowledge of inventory rotation and storage procedures
• Forklift certification or willingness to complete training provided by the company
